Half of the ice had already melt... read more Table for seven Saturday evening. Mistake! Took 40 minutes for half of our drinks to arrive. Polite nudge for the rest to come. Half of the ice had already melted in the glass. Add another hour plus for food! Pizzas generally ok, delighted they were moderately warm! Pasta OMG pathetic! Wife ordered chicken Al Forno and complained of it being cold. My wife never complains, so coupled with the wait its safe to say I was agitated. As my own replica Al Forno approached moments later I asked waiter if it was hot. Was told in no uncertain terms it was straight out of the oven. A meal known for its thermonuclear temperature, Al Forno, a.k.a Alan Furnace to his friends, was anything but scorchio. In my quiet rage I plunged a digit, American Pie style, into the food confident it wouldn’t melt off. I think my finger may have heated the dinner. Remarkably, adequate replacements turned up two minutes later. Proficient! We skipped dessert. I’m giving an extra star just in case they were amazing. Oh! One other thing, pasta was probably cold because it was a half sized serving. Thinking back to those science lessons on conduction, convection and radiation. In history lessons: rationing!

The staff we... read more We had a great time at this restaurant. We went with friends for a catch-up and enjoyed the bottomless brunch. Our server, Lauren E, was very nice! The staff were friendly and attentive. We highly recommend this place! The food was good, the atmosphere was great, and the drinks were enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back.

The starters were ok but the toppings... read more Went there last night for my Grandaughters birthday.This restaurant was recommended to us, but wont be going there again. The starters were ok but the toppings were few and far between. The main coarses needed a lot to be desired. I ordered spaghetti,crab and chilli. The crab was nowhere to be found and the pasta was cold. The broth or what ever it was in the bottom of the bowl was just cold pasta water.....Completely NO flavour in this dish.The price of the house wine was criminal. All our meals were over priced and not enjoyable. None of us enjoyed the food, but it was a family night out, great company but spoilt by a sub standard meal.The only positive thing was our waitress was lovely and very attentive. If only the food was on par with the waiting staff. Very very disappointing experience.
