What User doesn't like about Tryon City Tavern:
My wife and I recently visited this restaurant to try their fish and fries. We sat at a table near the bar but were not greeted by any staff. After waiting for a while, we decided to leave. It was around 4:30 on Friday, April 1st. Perhaps 4:30 is too early for dinner service? Regardless, since this restaurant is quite a distance from where we live in Greece, we won't be returning. The tacos they offer for taco Tuesday are among the best I've ever had.
Food..bomb. Taco Tuesdays are IT. Try a burger but their wings also slap. Great service every time, the owner and staff are super friendly. It can get cramped (only at times) but that’s only because everyone knows how great they are. Get the hometown burger, you won’t regret it.
I am mad at myself for not coming here sooner.Great small pub. Good food. Good drafts. Staff were fun. Good local neighborhood scene. Would come back again
LOVE their Friday Fish Fry...possibly the best the Roc has to offer!
Possibly the best wings in ROC. Great neighborhood/sports bar with a good selection of craft beers on tap.
