The Burger By Wegmans - Rochester

It's almost sad that how in Rochester, the city of garbage plates and greesy food, The Burger might have one of the most consistently bomb burgers! Nothing beats Wegmans, and for the price, expect to be blown away!

Went in for fish fry, that is what they call it. It was disgusting!! knew we were in trouble when I could not cut into the fish with the plastic knife. Ended up having to break the fish with my fingers as did my wife. My filet was less than a 1/2 thick. My wife sent hers back but the replacement was not much better. Cold slaw was unusual and a ton of french fries. Wegman's should really be ashamed to serve such garbage particulary with all the white chef hats walking around. Been going to Wegmans for 50 plus years, doesn't seem to get better, just worse.

I was intrigued by the $15 Friday fish fry sign. It did not disappoint. My wife had the crispy chicken sandwich and they have one of my fav IPA, Vodoo Ranger, on tap! Tuscan fries are outstanding and the fish fry was up there with some of the better ones I have had over the years. The Burger Bar is clean, prompt courteous service and food and drinks are very reasonable. Well done Wegmans!

This was my second and last time that I will visit The Burger Bar. First off, we arrived around 6:45 pm and there was no one to greet us. In fact, the cashier was too occupied with completing an order to take our order let alone even acknowledge us. We waited approximately 10 minutes until we were acknowledged and then he ran off to find a coworker in the store. He came back and eventually took our order. $35 for a mediocre turkey burger and chicken sandwich with 2 orders of fries and soft drink just is not worth the time and effort. I expected more from Wegmans and this disappoints.
