I'd say they have the best Chinese food in Rochester. Most Chinese places I got that sweet and oily food that makes you full with few bites, but this place has really good food flavored by authentic and delicious spices. And these foods don't have too much oil or sweetness I really liked. If you love spicy food, this place has great options. Service was super friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere inside is great.... View all feedback.
What Jacob K doesn't like about Szechuan Opera:
The sesame chicken was very fried and drenched in a really tangy sauce more akin to orange chicken. The veggie fried rice made us both extremely sick as well. Would not recommend. View all feedback.

They have private spaces for larger parties. I really enjoy their food and friendly service. A must to visit in Rochester.
This place is amazing. So much food I have never seen before and so good and crazy spicey. The inside is so cool, I don't know why you want take out.
One of the best Chinese restaurants in Rochester area! Loved her authentic Chinese food. Victor of the day was her Lo Mein and Broccoli in garlic sauce. It tasted perfect! Vegetable dumplings were decent as I felt that the vegetables in them had a raw taste and they could have cooked it a little more. I have to say about their customer service because the employees were really friendly and humble. Great place to dive. I will definitely visit again and I would definitely recommend this place!
The interior was super clean. The food came out very quickly. The white rice fried rice could have been better. We really enjoyed these pumpkin pussies (pictured in the middle)!
Food was just fine – the squirrel fish was much too sweet and not sour enough, the Westsee cow soup was much too watery, and the eggplant dish was just one of these basic roast sauces. The room is very beautiful. They said that the hot pot area will soon be opened.
