This place is so delicious. What I enjoy most is how the the ice cream is made in coconut milk, me being lactose intolerant, it's perfect. It didn't upset my stomach and I couldn't stop eating it. First time here with boyfriend, and we had no complaints. Highly recommend, it's vegan free too!!! View all feedback.

I wanted to come here when they used to be in Henrietta, so I was very excited to see they opened in this location! I didn't know they had food, too. I had no idea what a Bahn Mi was, so thanks to the Yelper that posted the menu. Very helpful! They had a smoked tofu one, so I decided to try that. They did not have the mango sticky rice (listed as seasonal on the menu), so unfortunately, I didn't get to try that. And while I was there, I decided to get the Cookie Monster, too. By the way, if you call an no one answers, it's just a generic message that comes up. I wasn't sure I called the right place. They were out of mushroom paste for my sandwich, but I'd never had one before, and I don't like mushrooms, so I didn't miss it. The sandwich had a lot of unique flavors, and the bread was really good and warm. I really liked it. It may have helped if I had seen the ice cream being made, but it was ready when I got there. But I wouldn't have been able to tell that it was fried or rolled while eating it. It was good, but for $10, it just seemed like regular ice cream to me. It was cute that it came in a Chinese food container, and I'm glad i tried it at least once. I'd really like to go back here again and try the mango sticky rice. Parking is tricky. I came at 3pm on purpose thinking it would be an off time, but South Ave was still busy. I found a spot pretty close, but street parking just isn't ideal for me. And I'd probably skip the ice cream next time, or at least watch them make it. But the sandwich was really good.
I have never tried ice cream made from an anti-griddle before. I've seen videos on YouTube but it was really cool seeing ice cream being made in front of you on the spot. I started with a rolled ice cream with a Thai coconut base, chunks of fresh pineapple and mango. I then topped it with coconut and drizzled with a sweet milk. Ice cream was light and very creamy. No brain freeze which was nice. I did try the banh mi and that tasted fresh with a soft bread. The only issue I really had was with the interior. It seems slightly run down for a newer venue. Outside of that I have no complaints. The staff was very friendly and was able to answer my questions as I am new to rolled ice cream. With its vicinity to places like Lux or just being in the Southwedge area, I can see this as a convenient spot for summer or even grabbing a sandwich before the bars.
Great staff, wonderful owners who care about each and every customer. Deliciously unique deserts with a show. Newly added food menue will have you coming back for more! Noodles Hibachi, Papaya salad, sandwiches and more. Awesome place to stop into!
This is a little hidden gem on South off of Gregory. To give you an idea where it is it's across from Tru Yoga. This is a nice little area with lots of other shops, restaurants, coffee shops, bars and more. It's a nondescript place from the outside as the signage is just liked tied up banners. FYI this is more of a take out place as they have limited seating. I went and tried a most excellent Banh Mi with Korean BBQ Chicken with all the fixings. I should have told the owner to hold off on the jalapeño as I bit into a big old chunk. Granted the cooling off the pickles, pickled carrots, cilantro and the pork pate made it so tasty and delicious. The French bread had just the right chew and it was warm. I met up with a few friends and we got a bit of this and that.. I want to come back to try more. It's food from Laos and the menu looks so tasty. The owner is a super great guy, but I felt for him as he seemed to have staffing issues and he was cranking out a lot of orders. So be aware you may have to wait for your orders but do not let that detour you from coming and ordering it's worth it. Yes I will be back I want to try more. Parking is street so.. Give it a go! Cheers
