During my last visit to the To-go restaurant, I received a different sandwich than what I had ordered. I mentioned this when I picked up my order today. However, the taste was still good and we enjoyed our meal. Unfortunately, we found a paper (which seemed to be a cheese wrapper) in my child's sandwich. It would be great if they could pay more attention to detail in the future. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Panera Bread:
had problems here consistently. I am more than willing to accept supply chain problems/expanding circumstances, but I have a hard time with exceptionally rude employees who are not able to work with me. for example, I have here at more than one occasion where they have said that they have no bread for the side, but if I ask if there is another possibility to have with my suppe and everything I get is an empty star an... The food is usually great. I take off a star because occasionally they are out of some of the menu items we like and not a fan of the parking in this plaza. Sometimes you can't find a seat due to the students from the school across the street. Otherthan that, doesn't stop me from coming in if the mood strikes.
The curbside pickup service is abysmal. It took them 20 minutes to prepare a salad, and 10 additional minutes to actually walk the salad to my car. What is even the point? Worst of all, I had to call to actually get them moving, asking where was my food, then surprise, it shows up. no one apologize for the absurd delay. The food was also less good than when I order it inside:barely any protein and definitely not enough dressing. I cannot recommend this specific location of Panera.
I contracted food poisoning from a pizza and salad delivery I received on 7/31/22 from Panera Twelve Corners in Brighton, NY. When I called to report it, I was told that it could have been from something else I had eaten in the past 2-3 days. It was disappointing to hear this response, as food poisoning can occur almost immediately or within 6 to 24 hours. The CDC provides information on different categories of contaminants and the time frames in which they occur. This experience has left me disillusioned with Panera, as they need to ensure they have their facts straight.
I have consistently encountered issues at this restaurant. While I am understanding of supply chain challenges and unexpected circumstances, I find it difficult to overlook the exceptionally rude employees who are unwilling to accommodate me. On multiple occasions, I have been told that there is no bread available for sides, which is fine, but when I inquire about other options to go with my soup, I am met with only a blank stare and a grunt, which is frustrating. The service is also slow. As for the food, I have been disappointed to find that the usual panini and sandwich options have been replaced with fast food chicken sandwiches that resemble something you would find at a Burger King (plain buns and a generic chicken patty), which is not what I expect from a Panera.
The restaurant offers delicious, usually healthy food made with fresh, high quality ingredients at a slightly higher price point than average. Despite occasional mix-ups with orders, the overall risk is low. The building is generally clean, with mostly tidy bathrooms. Both indoor and outdoor seating options are available, though indoors can be noisy at times. The interior is well-lit and has a pleasant atmosphere. The staff is typically friendly and efficient in fulfilling orders. Customers can check the status of their food orders using smartphones. Wait times are usually short, and customers can also place orders using tablets provided at the entrance.
