Wow is everything I can say. This place is amazing! Staff is the best, food is just a work of culinary art, the wine is delicious, and you must love any restaurant that has an open kitchen. And don't let me start with how nice their food is out! Just go! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Pane Vino On The Avenue:
This place how do I describe it. Overly priced for food that literally came out of the freezer and smelled disgusting. The stacked eggplant was disgusting. The middle of it was cold to the point of frozen and I didn't even eat it after one bite. It smelled like it came out of the garbage. So disgusting. I don't know how anyone could serve something like that at a nice restaurant in Pittsford. Never ever again. Also f... View all feedback.
We sat outside on a Thursday evening for dinner. We ordered the special appetizer (bangbang shrimp) and the special entree (halibut), chicken parmesan, and tiramisu. The bangbang shrimp was a generous portion for the price and the halibut special was seriously the best dinner I’ve ever had!!!!! I’m SO glad I have leftovers! Chicken parm was awesome and the tiramisu was delicious. 1000/10 cannot wait to return, such a wonderful experience!!!!!
So this place has great food and the waitstaff is trained to take care of you properly. This isn't super high-end fine dining, but it's fine dining with white table clothes and what not. Now, there were a couple instances when we were waiting a bit longer than we would have liked for someone to check in on us, but they were very attentive when they were there. Water and drinks refilled frequently. Just took a little longer than we would have liked to get us some pasta. They also may have been a little short staffed because it was a Wednesday night too. Not exactly prime time for tons of people dining out.I'll definitely be going back there to try other things. Their homemade gnocchi was really good, and the lobster version was just awesome.Parking: It's in a Plaza. Tons of parking.
First time here decor is old, and it smelled like paint or varnish.Hostess sat us with no menus. Cocktails were amazing! For apps we ordered the wedge salad, calamari and lobster bisque all were plentiful portions and very good. Entrees were pasta dishes, one shrimp dish and lobster gnocchi, and chicken parm. All entrees were huge portions and enjoyed except the chicken parm it was very dry. Our server was attentive and friendly. over all it was over priced and menu was limited, I really would have liked more seafood choices.
It was good. I think because I was by myself and not engaging enough with the bartender, just working and eating at the bar, he somewhat forgot about me. I waited a long time for one glass of wine and my bill. There were couples and groups that took priority. Won't go back again.Food: 3/5
I recently had a dinner in one of the party rooms for a family anniversary party. From the coordination with the event planner, the service, and the outstanding food, all of it was wonderful. The server Benjamin was extremely helpful and accomodating. The food was served on time and was delicious. Buffet dinners often suffer in large quantities, but this is not the case at Pane Vino. The food was outstanding.
