This restaurant is probably better than the few All-You-Can-Eat sushi restaurants in the roughest area. The service is very friendly and quick, and the food is delicious and fresh. I was impressed by the wide variety of items and options on the menu. The prices are reasonable. I would definitely go back if I were in the area again. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Osaka Sushi Japanese:
The restaurant offers fast service and a wide variety of options on the menu, such as appetizers, sashimi, sushi rolls, teriyaki dishes, and desserts. However, there is a 75-minute time limit for all-you-can-eat customers, which may not be ideal for some, especially considering the higher price. Additionally, the food quality could be improved. The sushi at this restaurant was disappointing. My daughter and I ordered basic rolls - salmon and avocado for me, and a crab roll for her. They were warm and didn't taste right. The menu was hard to understand, so we didn't order much. It wasn't worth the $32 each or $75 total. Next time, I'll just go to Wegmans for better and cheaper sushi. The restaurant seemed to be run by a young group, maybe a k-pop band. Our daddy-daughter date night turned into running to the bathroom. We won't be returning.
I used to really enjoy this restaurant, but in my last three visits over the past two months, I have been disappointed by the poor quality of food and slow service. The atmosphere was okay, but the service and food did not meet my expectations. Dining in for dinner cost over $100 per person.
Be cautious when dining at the All You Can Eat weekend dinner service. I went with my mom, sister, and best friend for the All You Can Eat option, as my best friend and I had previously had a great experience. We usually dined during the week in the early evening, but this time we went on a Friday evening at 6pm due to time constraints. We were seated promptly and placed our drink order quickly. However, it took nearly 20 minutes for our first food order to arrive, which included green salad, seaweed salad, and two pieces of nigiri. The server left hastily before we could inquire about the rest of our order. Another 15 minutes passed before we received the calamari, shrimp skewers, and only 1 out of the 3 takoyaki we had ordered. Despite attempting to order more food in advance, the wait remained long and frustrating. After being at the restaurant for 2 and a half hours, we had only received half of our order while tables seated after us were served promptly. Our server struggled to locate our order even after repeating it back to us multiple times, causing further delays. When my mom and sister became fed up and wanted to leave, I requested to speak to a manager who kindly offered a 20% discount on our bill and allowed us to take the remaining food we had ordered to go. Although the food was delicious, the service was lacking. I am disappointed with the attitude of our server, and if we return and are assigned to her again, I will request a different server. Based on other reviews, it seems that wait times are excessively long on weekend evenings, especially on Fridays. UPDATE: Upon returning home and unpacking the take-home sushi, I discovered that my nigiri pieces were smeared with wasabi on the bottom, unbeknownst to me until I shared a piece with my 11-year-old brother. Additionally, the containers of ice cream were placed at the bottom of the bag without being securely closed, causing the ice cream to melt and spill everywhere. This unnecessary act of carelessness was disappointing and has deterred me from returning to the restaurant.
