What Domenic Calabrese doesn't like about New Number One Chinese Restaurant:
(Out of fairness for the restaurant: I've only been there once and this may not be the norm . So, I asked for sesame chicken made extra crispy with white meat and they told me that they flat out couldn't do the white meat switch. Every other Chinese restaurant I go to or have gone to in the past has had no problems with my preference for white meat sesame chicken. It usually costs a couple extra dollars but that's no problem, but to straight out just deny a simple request by a customer that can easily be accommodated, was simply poor customer service .I left there frustrated and in the end was unimpressed. I will try them again though because everyone deserves a second chance right?.
I ordered General T. Chicken pork fried rice. I'm from the state of NY, closer to the city and let me tell you! I and my friend have just ordered from them and the portions are beautiful and big. I will say it is a little more expensive (why did I give 4 stars) than the Chino spots in the city, but you get def what you pay. Update and it is GOOD!

Very healthy food, no fat, very fast attraction, and people have such beautiful energy!
New Number One is the best Chinese restaurant in Rochester, hands down. Your food is delicious. Recommend order delivery, the food always arrives very fast, and always piping hot. You work like a well oiled machine
I am one of the many nurses at Strong Hospital. We order from new number one multiple times a month. We absolutely love the food, and in the rare case that something is missing or made wrong they rectify it immediately.
