wish open table or the restaurant had let us know that they do not serve alcoholic beverages. we could have been prepared. also beautiful, they have live music, but it was soou loud! we have changed the tables and it has been through, especially because the band went on the break. we were there to eat, no concert! the food was good. I had the Horiatiki salad, generous and tasty. my companion had the Gyro plate..Drumb... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Kainos Greek Cuisine:
the restaurant does not have an alcohol license that explains why they were sitting on a busy Saturday night. that would have been good, but that was also average - my moussaka was cold in the middle and had not been heated, which was disappointing View all feedback.
Wishing open table or restaurant had let us know that they do not serve alcoholic drinks. We could have been prepared. Also beautiful, they have live music, but it was soooo loud! We've changed tables and we've been through it, especially because the band went on break. We were there for dinner, no concert! The food was good. I had the Horiatiki salad, generous and tasty. My companion had the Gyro plate. Desserts were just okay. Would go back because of the location and the owner is a nice
We attended Kainos on a very quiet evening with only four other patrons in the entire Restaurant, so consequently we are unable to reliably rate noise level. The service was hospitable and fast (of course with only 4 others at tables)! The food was excellent! However, a Greek Restaurant with no Baklava to serve (even though it was on the menu) was a real disappointment. Especially since there were so few in the place...why would they run out? Overall this was a top notch experience, beautifully decorated ambiance with a wonderful view of the Genesee river, great service with excellent tasting food. We will return in hopes that Baklava will be there next time! Perhaps the empty place was a result of a temporary loss of their liquor license.
Crystal was fantastic!! She was welcoming and helpful.
We had a party of 5 adults 2 kids at 5:30 for the sake of the kids and later evening diners. Everything we ordered was served hot and without exception was very good. The service let the restaurant down. We had to ask for silverware and she said the hostess is supposed to do that, then we asked twice for plates to share the 3 appetizers, etc. I don’t want to end on the negative because we all enjoyed the food.
The food was overpriced, mediocre and served lukewarm. If you desire Greek food go somewhere else.
