Great coffee, ideal location, and people so incredibly hip that it hurts. The molasses cookies are supposed to die for this. Java is the only coffee shop on the planet to this coffee snob. View all feedback.
The atmosphere is excellent. It's great for chatting, studying, or enjoying a good coffee.
This is a lovely café to enjoy a cappuccino. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff are very friendly. However, the entrance opens directly into the ordering counter, which causes a bit of congestion at the entrance. The coffee is great, but the carrot cake was a tad too sweet for my taste. It's conveniently located in downtown Rochester, near the Eastman School of Music, and I really appreciate the charming vintage interiors.
To be frank, Java's doesn’t require any Google reviews to maintain its reputation. It's well-established and has earned its place over the years. In more than 30 years, Java's has kept its charm, and I sincerely hope it remains unchanged. The atmosphere is undoubtedly one of the coolest and coziest in town, and since it opened in 1992, they’ve consistently delivered fantastic coffee, tea, desserts, and much more.

Great coffee shop treats customers well. Ben is above all the perfect ambassador and one of the reasons why my bike group and I always come back!
