dinner with a good idea! hattie is a little expensive, but it is an incredible or experience. the food and the service were great. drinking were great. they can sit outside on any side of the building or be on a table or bar. this is really a must and they will not forget their time here. We used to love coming here and have had numerous birthday celebrations here. The menu is very small now and the sushi is not like it used to be. Very bland and for those prices it should be excellent. The service is poor as well. We could not even make a reservation and were actually told they cannot take one since the restaurant is closed and to call back. We will go for drinks now only--which may be the direction... Rooftop bar provides a relaxing atmosphere with a beautiful view of downtown Rochester.
My friends and I came here for drinks on 6/8/18. I always had heard good things of this rooftop bar so I wanted to try it out. The views of Rochester from the outside patio are phenomenal. Yes the drinks are expensive, about 2 dollars more per mixed drinkthan at other places but I think it's worth the price to sit or stand outside. The only problem is the bartenders are in asunken area which really isn't appropriate with what some bartenders wear. The bartender also ignored me for 3 other grouos ofpeople but also served my 3 friends so that was outrageous. However the view and the strength if the drink more than made up forthe two cons of this place!
The bar itself is sunk so that they get eye contact with their bartender instead of floating over them. drink selection is great, both mixed, spiritual, wein and sake. we have a few different sushi roles. the rice is perfectly cooked and has almost a sweet taste (but on a delicious wise). very good, but something overpriced for what it is.
