We opted for takeout to see how Chen's is faring with some classic favorites: Won Ton soup, egg rolls, and General Chicken. The soup was quite enjoyable; it came in a small to-go container... View all feedback.
What Christopher B doesn't like about Chen Garden:
To be honest, the service is quite disorganized and chaotic when it comes to handling takeout orders. The accuracy of assembling the orders varies significantly. As for the flavor of the food... View all feedback.
I visited the little garden for the first time, and wow, it's beautiful inside! The ambiance is lovely and peaceful, with a cozy, dim atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable, and the food is incredibly tasty. I highly recommend it. On my second visit to the Chen Garden, I was once again amazed! I never expected such a great experience. They truly go above and beyond for their customers. The food was delicious and served at the perfect temperature. My friend and I had a wonderful time!
I was greeted right away and had me in a seat right away. Gave me menu with water and tea right away. I ordered a mix drink zombie and was made right away. Drink is tasty and delicious. I got a appetizer of crispy minced shrimp with bacon which was delightful and my main course was General Tso scallops add shrimp. Drink service was quick and got my second Zombie. The drinks are made correctly here. I give Chen Garden 5 star. 5 for 5 for drink, 5 for 5 for service, 5 for 5 for food.
Amazing Chinese food and great portions. They inside ambiance was very comfortable and I loved the ethnic music that added to the ambiance. The staff was very friendly and polite too! I can't wait to come back
This was a recommendation by my wife.We have not had very much luck with good Chinese food in Rochester. From the time we walked in I noticed that the atmosphere was very spacious and very nicely decorated. The menu has 15 pages of many delicious looking choices to choose from. My wife had a French Martini and it was very good and very strong. I just had water and tea which is what they start you out with when you sit down as well as the crunchy noodles and a nice full pot of tea.We got spare ribs for the appetizer. My wife had moo goo gai pan for her entree, and I had the beef lo mein. The food was so exquisite. Everything tasted great. I high recommended going here if you are in the mood for good Chinese food.
We enjoyed fantastic Asian cuisine at incredibly affordable prices. Despite it being a busy Saturday night, we were seated quickly. Our group of three ordered soup, appetizers, and main dishes, all served by a very accommodating waitress. Everything was perfectly timed and arrived hot and delicious. Definitely deserving of a 5-star review tonight!
