Bb's Pizzaria - Rochester

We love everything we have tasted here. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Rochester. Their barbeque chicken wings are to die for! The service is fast and friendly, the location is great, and the food is amazing.

Got BBs for my work today. After I got done with the 1 mile drive back to work all the toppings and cheese slid to the last quarter of the pizza. Mine as well be eating lasagna. The ingredients were great just had to eat it like soup.

I’m looking forward to giving this local pizzeria another chance. We stopped by today and went with the daily slice option. The seating area is spacious, featuring padded booths on one side and tables scattered throughout. There’s also an outdoor patio visible through the glass on one side. The young man who served us was friendly and quickly brought our drinks and slices. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger slice, but I found the crust to be hard around the edges and the slice itself was only lukewarm. The thick cheese and sauce overpowered the dish, and the chunks of beef were not very flavorful. I don’t recall tasting or seeing any bacon at all. I really believe I could enjoy this "Minnesota-style" pizza if I come back and order a fresh pie.

I ordered a pizza and breadsticks from here last night, and it was terrible. The food smelled and tasted like pickles, even though I didn't have any pickles on my pizza. Thankfully, I'm not allergic to pickles, but it’s concerning. I'm not sure if I'll order from here again. The food has been good in the past, but last night was far from that. It was really disappointing. This could have been a serious issue for someone with a pickle allergy.

I've tasted many different pizzas over the years, but I always find myself returning to BB's Pizza. When I order the mushroom and sausage pizza well done, it transports me back to my childhood when my parents would take me to an old-fashioned pizzeria in Milwaukee, WI, which I believe was called Peppy's Pizza on the South Side. I've never encountered another pizza with a crust quite like BB's. I always request it be well done to achieve that perfect crispy, dark bottom. Every bite of this pizza is a delightful reminder of cherished memories from the past.
