We really enjoyed our meal here. We had a variety of dishes and everything was delicious. Although we had all requested different degrees of sharpness, everything came out exactly as requested. The service was exceptional. We were able to have a conversation without being interrupted, but we never had to wait for service and our water glasses were never empty. I read good reviews of this hotel but was very disappointed. The tea salad was very sour and my wife ordered fish sauce to make the taste better. I had the chicken Dau Bauk and the leg was small and very dry. I felt like I was eating more rice than the chicken, very overpriced. This place doesn't come close to Burma Superstar in SF. Great views of the Missouri River and delicious food.
On most Sundays we drive 104 miles to go to The Bistro, so there should be a testament to how much we prepare the people and the incredible food John, Emilee and their crew. If you want to go to a beautiful place where the staff treats you like family and dine on wonderful, inventive meals, then don't look further.
The appetizers we got were good but the entrees and the desert were not. Service was not great, entrees took over 30 minutes to come out. The desert costed 9 usd but was a tiny slice of a not good key lime pie that wasn’t worth half of this money. Not going back.
Chose this spot for a first date and drove over an hour to get there. Will most definitely be coming back!, amazing service , outstanding waitress, and fine wine and a breathtaking view of the Missouri River!!!
Our reservation was easy and we were greeted by name when we arrived. The staff was professional and courteous and served us with class.
