We have eaten here and reviewed this restaurant several times before, but thought we should note that the standard and ambience has been retained. This time we chose to visit for sunday lunch the restaurant was very busy and I would advise booking a table...particularly on Sundays. As always the service was very efficient and welcoming There is no choice in this menu but all was good.

We first ate here in July this year and were pleasantly surprised by the food and its value for money. On this, our second visit I can confirm that the auberge still provides a great lunch menu. There is no choice, but as before each...course was well presented. This is not fine dining, but honest traditional French fare and excellent of its type. We wish that we could find more places like this on our travels through France.

We had passed this restaurant on many occasions, while travelling to the Lac de Devesset or on route to St Agreve, but had not stopped here before. We finally we did visit because we were having difficulty finding a restaurant open on a Monday lunch...time. We were could not have been more pleased with what we found. The auberge is situated on the roadside, but this did detract from the experience. There is a pleasant terrace and when we arrived the place was busy. We soon found out why. We were offered the menu du jour at euros. There was no choice, the menu was the menu, it did not disappoint. It was comprised of a slice pate en croute followed by a vegetable terrine, then a beef and tomato stew with rice, followed by cheese and then dessert, and a red vin de table was included in the price. All of the dishes were very tasty and well presented. This is not fine dining, but this is what one always hopes to find in France and these days rarely does. The bonus was the great value for money. The young woman who served us was efficient and charming. My only regret is that we did not visit the restaurant earlier in our recent trip. I would recommend this one for a simple but excellent lunch. There is a large convenient car park.

Jeudi 10 aout a midi de passage,menu unique simple mais bon car se sont des produits frais correctement cuisinés.Trés bien pour se restaurer pour 14€ entrée plat fromage dessert,vin et café compris.Bien sur jl ne faut pas vouloir un menu gastronomique.Ljeune serveus était seule pour peut etre 40 a 50 couvert et bravo,sans bemol.

Excellent accueil. Serveuse agréable et efficace.La cuisine est très simple mais abondante et bonne.En pleine campagne ; idéal pour une belle balade après le repas.Très bon rapport qualité-prix.
