The mash had never seen a potato , meat dry veg undercooked. Couldn’t not eat wouldn’t recommend. Only decent thing was my sons children’s meal. Disappointing

From the guy behind the bar, to the guy on the carvery, to th... read more Today was my first visit to this restaurant and I must say, the staff were exceptionally friendly. From the guy behind the bar, to the guy on the carvery, to the lady who checked on our food, and another lady who helped us with parking. Two of us had the carvery, while one had the scampi and chips, and all the meals were very good.

Choice of Ham, Turkey and Beef loads of choice on the veg, and Yorkshire Puddings are the best. We have never had a bad meal here, so if you are in the area, it's well worth a visit and the bill won't be high. Also got to say a word about the staff who are friendly and helpful. We will be back again

Avoid this place like the plague unless you come without a car: My wife and I visited here on the 31st of march to enjoy a drink and a walk by the lake: I paid... read more Avoid this place like the plague unless you come without a car: My wife and I visited here on the 31st of march to enjoy a drink and a walk by the lake: I paid the euro car park machine in the Beach public house car park for 3 hours and stayed approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes thinking I was absolutely covered with the time: Only to find a week later I received a parking fine of £100 for exceeding “2” hours, as stated I paid extra for “3” hours, totally disgusting: Be Very careful on leaving your car in the Beach public house car park even if like me you paid for extra hours: I most certainly will not return here: Spoiled a mostly enjoyable day.
