La Pergola - Roccaforte mondovi

Amazing restaurant! We stayed visiting the area of Mondovi and our friend brought us here for dinner the first night. I can only say is the best pizza i tried in a very very long time. Sooo good. Service is great and familiar, cozy and comfortable. And with all is such a good price. Love it.

If travelling in this region, La Pergola could save you on a Sunday evening, as it was the only restaurant open between Lurisia and Mondovi! Very friendly staff some of whom spoke both English and French. The restaurant has a nice, shade terrace, not depicted, which is far less stuffy than the dining room. Off street parking. The pizzas looked excellent, although we opted for the Veal Al Limone amazing for the price, tasty, with the authentic buttery, piquant sauce. My partner ate an Escalope Milanese, equally good howver French fries were deemed OK but nothing special. Our entrees were copious, fresh and delicious: melon and parma ham and the local cured ham. Desserts were honest for the price and again, tasty panne cotta. The bill was ridiculously low, including a bottle of wine, about EUR 50. Credit cards are not accepted howver the owner allowed us to pay the next day, by popping the cash in the letter box!

Amazing food, you can taste everything is fresh and home made! Best pizza my boyfriend and I ever tasted, and super friendly staff who speak mostly Italian but some can speak good English as well. We are here for a 2 week holiday so we will come back way more! Keep up the good work ;

Pizza is very good and the owner always very kind. to prove the impact to natural leavening. definitely family friendly.
