La Estrellita Cafe - Robstown

Honestly, I never paid much attention to this place until I grew tired of all the other bland Mexican restaurants in Robstown. I finally decided to give it a try, and my only regret is not visiting sooner! The breakfast plate is absolutely perfect! The only downside is that the lemonade isn’t homemade, but I can overlook that. And you can't miss the amazing turkey plate they serve on Saturdays! Everything about the food is fantastic. The space is a bit cramped, but it's definitely worth it.

After waiting 40 minutes for just one order, I won't be returning.

There’s no other place in the city I prefer to eat than Estrellita Restaurant. The food is excellent! It truly tastes like home-cooked meals. I would recommend everyone, including my friends and family, to come by and enjoy the experience.

I ordered the crispy taco plate. The rice was cold and clumpy/flavorless and the refried beans were swimming in grease. I have tried their food before and it was very good. Maybe they had a bad day or new cook. Also, my server never came back. I was out of water and coffee.
