When we were in Robe I bought an ice-cream here. It is not very cheap but it is very good. The owner comes from Scandinavia and she knows how to make ice-cream. Try it. View all feedback.

Pretty spoilt when loads of families eat dinner along here and walk back to their cars. There was sufficient variety of options, but most were flavourless. Even the kids didn't finish theirs and I was surprised when I finished off theirs that they tasted identical to mine!Don't go expecting greatness. It might be just as good to grab some paddle pops from the supermarket and sit on the beach instead. Hopefully they take a leaf out of some other seaside ice-creameries where you visit the town for the ice-cream as much as the beach (see Queenscliff, Victoria). The coffee wasn't great either.
We recently visited Robe and rather than finish our lunch with a dessert at the cafe at which we were dining, we decided to visit the ice creamery. Even though we were only three days into autumn the main freezer was empty, significantly reducing their variety of flavours. I opted for a single scoop cone and the serve was extremely small- 3 bites and the icecream was all gone, leaving me with an empty cone. Because of the small serve it was hard to judge the quality of the "house made" icecream. What I tasted was okay, but nothing special
I give it a 3 star as there were many many flavours almost all of them milk based. Only two out of about 20 dairy free. Flavours are not bad, staff is very nice and friendly. We only had I/C here so not sure about coffee etc. Also it was rather expensive in my opinion.
The very best part of this dinner was the service by the owner(s) From what I can tell this is a wine shop that serves fine dinners.
By far one of the best meals I have had in FranceI ordered the meal of the day and for the first course received four perfect oysters.
