El Tenampa Mexican - Roanoke Rapids

Everyone has their own preferences, but this restaurant has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The food is outstanding, and the prices are comparable to other eateries in town. I've dined here multiple times, and the staff is always quick to address any concerns I may have. It's a great alternative to franchise and chain restaurants, so we often choose to eat here.

I've been dining there regularly for years, and I've never had a bad meal. The staff is always attentive and friendly. I've been going almost every Friday night for over eight years now.

I ordered a taco salad from there yesterday and specifically requested no lettuce, cheese, sour cream, or beans, so it was supposed to have just chicken and guacamole. However, they included sour cream anyway, and the guy at the register tried to argue with me about it. They eventually fixed the mistake, but when I got home and opened it up, there was barely half a cup of chicken—definitely not enough to cover the bottom of the container. I also ordered a medium-sized portion of white sauce, which cost me $8.75. Overall, I have no intentions of returning to that restaurant.
