What User doesn't like about Trader Vic's:
Typical Trader Vic's with a little twist, no alcohol. I'm in what can I say Trader Vic's is all about the drinks, Especially the rum drinks. But in a dry country yay got to do what you got to do, So all of the drinks are nonalcoholic.(this takes a star) The food is typical TV style, Nothing more nothing less. the service starts off good then takes a nose dive. Outdated decor, cheesy music. It was empty on a Thursday night which should have been the first clue that we shouldn’t eat here. Second clue was when the waiter told us none of their seafood was fresh (some of which was nearly 200sar). Beef cho cho was chewy and impossible to cook over the flame provided and was drenched in sauce. Chicken mushroom soup was not freshly made and served in a stale cold bread bowl. Kufta with cheese was decent. Kung Pao chicken was more like sweet and sour chicken, absolutely swimming in powerfully sweet sauce. Dynamite shrimp was just gross...chewy, sloppy, and greasy. The best thing about this place was the drinks, but unless you’d like to drink them with an overhead rollercoaster as your background music, skip those too.
