Beautiful hotel We had a nice room with a bubble bath with chromotherapy. Was a lot of fun. The bed was really comfy Cleaniness was overall good but the sink had a bit of mold and water draining was slow. You can have a walk around the lake which is quite nice View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Martin's Château Du Lac:
The location seems to be the only thing special. Terrible service (waiters walking by multiple times without clearing the table from the guests before, let alone take our order. After paying 4 euros for a half filled mug of water with a tea bag and a dirty spoon it was clear the service was not a hiccup. 10 minutes walking from here is a quaint location with good drinks, food, and a view of the lake. Most importantly... View all feedback.
I would like to share my experiences from my recent stay at Château du Lac. Unfortunately, several issues marked my overall experience: 1. Spa Service: Spa enjoyment was disrupted by a noisy group in the pool, affecting our relaxation. 2. Restaurant Service: Poor organization at the restaurant resulted in order errors and delays, impacting the experience despite the quality of the dishes. 3. Room Infrastructure Issues: The room had flaws such as low-quality pillows, wardrobe doors difficult to close, scratches, and excessive noise from the air conditioning. 4. Payment Issues: Challenges with eco-vouchers, lack of clarity, and responsiveness in resolving payment issues were frustrating. 5. Massage Issues: Upon arrival in the relaxation room, there was no available water. Out of the 5 seats, 2 were not functioning, and one was too hot to lie on, all for 8 clients. I hope these insights will contribute to improving your services. I am open to discussing constructive solutions. Rooms: A disappointing room, marked by constant noise and clear signs of dilapidation. A heating system that compromised tranquility with its noise, coupled with the overall condition of the room featuring chipped furniture and a neglected bathroom, left much to be desired. Immediate attention to maintenance and renovation is required to enhance the guest experience. Nearby activities: No nearby activities around the hotel; one must go to Brussels for any entertainment. It is better to stay directly in Brussels for the same price. Food drinks: The food is good, but the service is deplorable, with only inexperienced young staff. This disorganization made us stay at the table for over three hours, not to mention the errors on the final bill. Noteworthy details: The staff also struggles with handling the final billing and producing an invoice. A lot of time is wasted explaining things, which is unbearable. There is no manager to oversee the teams.

It was a bad experience, we left extremely unsatisfied. From 3 am, we couldn't sleep due to the excessive noise of the other guests. At 3:40 am, our neighbors took a shower, and we could hear everything. While they were leaving the room, the noise was unbearable, and even after, we couldn't sleep due to the noise of people walking in the corridors and stairs loudly. We repeatedly tried to call the reception, but no one answered. We gave our feedback to the receptionist, they didn't react to the bad service, we also e-mailed the hotel manager, but received no response. Very disappointed. Edit after response: we sent an email to the contact the receptionist gave for complaints, after she didn't react to our feedback about our stay in April last year. No response since.

Very beautiful setting. The rooms are OK but I was hoping to find the atmosphere of a castle. They have a very nice bar, small downside for the bartender who was not very pleasant. Very ordinary breakfast with croissants that were a little dry and not very tasty. Rooms: 4 Service: 3 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Quiet, Great value
