What Herminio Rowe doesn't like about Auberge De La Pointe:
Stayed at L'Auberge one night and ate in the bar area as we found the menu prices at L'Espadon dining room over the top! The bar area was very quaint and cozy however we found the menu options were very limited for a bar with...no burgers, fish and chips or pasta dishes and the prices here were high here as well. We settled on some chicken wings and a bowl of onion soup which was very tasty. The special was frog legs... View all feedback.
Excellent locationwonderful pure friendly sincere local server's who strive on making your experience enjoyable _Nice to really good menu.
This was a great find -- a spectacular spot with lots of options for accommodation and dining.
We checked in to this four star hotel only to find that our room didn't have air conditioning. They were sold out that night, so we could not be moved. Luckily the manager reimbursed our stay and we found another hotel. But that would not be possible in peak season/ weekend.
L albergo ha molte stanze dislocate in piu' zone. Camera spaziosa nuova e pulita. Personale gentile e disponibile. Bellissimo il bar da dove si puo' ammirare uno splendido tramonto. Molto buona la colazione. Ci tornerei volentieri.
The meal plan includes a 3 course table hote dinner and a very good breakfast buffet. There are lots of choices on the table hote menu. We enjoyed the sweetbreads as an appetizer. The veal medallions in white wine sauce were perfectly cooked and tender, same for the rack of lamb. Dessert was a large table with many delicious choices. The wine list was good and prices were reasonable. The dining room was very pleasant and not noisy.
