Reviews - Rolo's Bakery
Reviews summary
Nestled in Riverview, this cozy Colombian bakery elevates classics—empanadas, pan de bono, pan de queso, guava cheese pastries and churro cheese donuts—into fresh, balanced treats. Spotless interiors, friendly owners and fast, neatly packaged delivery make it a neighborhood favorite with affordable prices. Standouts include chorizo items, croissants and stuffed churros, though some desserts like tres leches and cookies vary. The personal, welcoming service keeps customers coming back. One frequent request: add vegan options to broaden appeal.
Was Anonym at Rolo's Bakery a mag?
I ordered a breakfast sandwich, pan con queso, and a cheese empanada, along with a latte through DoorDash. My order was neatly packaged, complete with a smiley face on the sandwich wrapper and extra sugar for my coffee. The food was incredibly delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. I will definitely be visiting in person and recommending this place to my friends! View all feedback.
What Rose Donato dislikes about Rolo's Bakery:
Need vegan options.Reply to your reply. I understand that, but you need to grow with the times and also have options. Many non-vegan places have options still for people who care about animals and what they put into their body. View all feedback.

I stopped by expecting to grab a bagel, but they didn’t have any. That turned out to be a happy accident! Everything in the shop looked and tasted fantastic. We tried some empanadas, guava bread, cookies, and a stuffed churro, and I was impressed by all of it—everything was amazing! I'm really glad I decided to visit and will definitely be coming back. The staff were friendly, and the bakery was spotless!
This charming little place in Riverview is a delight. The bread and empanadas are always fresh and tasty. The location is consistently clean, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!
I would definitely return for these baked goods the next time I'm in Tampa. They are fantastic!
Croissants, pan de Bono, pan de queso, quesito, and anything with chorizo or morcia are phenomenal.Wasnt too impressed with the tres leches, cookies, or empanadas, but still well worth the visit.Staff and owners are very friendly and interactive. Even gave my daughter a Colombian treat just for being there. Can't wait to go back!!!

I absolutely adore this restaurant! The interior is charming and cozy. Our top picks here are the chicken and beef empanadas, pan de bono, pan de queso, and tres leches cake. We usually try to arrive early to make sure we don't miss out on any of these delicious items. Recently, they've started appearing on food delivery apps, and we ordered through one of them once—it was a wonderful experience!
I absolutely love this bakery! Their flavors are incredibly well balanced. The guava cheese pastry and the churro cheese donut, which you might expect to be overly sweet, are actually sublime. You can taste each individual flavor, and I can't get enough of this place!
This is a fantastic spot for delicious Colombian empanadas and more—check out the menu! Also, just a heads up: you can send money to Colombia here as well.
