we came to Cuban and have it! the special pollo fricase (swedes huhn) had amazing aromen. lechon asado slowly cooked bark) paired ingenious with the plantains. mariquitas (chips and a cilanto chimichurri salsa) was a delicious appetizer. the waitress was very helpful and happy and always attentive. the music and pictures were also on the spot! My brother, who was visiting from Maryland a few years ago, discovered this restaurant and instantly became a fan. I, as a local, should have known about it sooner. It's the only place I go to for delicious chicken soup when I'm sick, for a cafe con leche and Cuban toast, for office catered lunches, for ropa vieja, and the pizza tostones (I can never remember the correct name!). I have never dined in the restaurant before, but the Cuban food is some of the best I have ever tasted. We had them cater a party and there was plenty of food for everyone. I spoke with the owner to determine how much food to order, and everyone was able to take leftovers home. The party had guests from several states outside of Florida, and everyone agreed that the food was fantastic. Our favorites were the masitas and Imperial rice.
I absolutely love this restaurant! The food, service, and decor are all fantastic. This is hands down the best place I have ever eaten within a 50 mile radius. I can't wait to come back!
Al and Tanya are a delight! The food is delicious and authentic. Just walk in and order.. "uno mas" in your best Cuban accent!
Great family run restaurant. Food is delicious. Oxtail was so good. Great drinks and Cuban coffee offered. I recommend this place as a casual good lunch or dinner. Nothing fancy but very comfortable
Absolute delicious food. Quite literally the WORST hours I have ever heard of for a business!! Good luck finding a time they are open
