Flavaz Jamaican Grille - Riverview

I cook at home every day. I hate to eat because I'm picky and I don't want to waste my money. But my husband and I were out all day and we were hungry. We wanted a house of cooked food and we found this place. Food was so delicious and authentic. We had the oxtail and curry goats. Very nice portions, I couldn't even finish my record. Place was clean, I mean spotless and the two ladies in the front were so friendly. Please don't change anything!

The rice and the peas were great, the macaroni was better than expected, but I was very disappointed by the steamed vegetables? no taste or spices at all? I also ordered a lemonade I could say was freshly pressed and delicious. Overall, the meal was 8 out of 10. Absolutely loved the brown one-pot chicken, but the vegetables lowered the score a bit. I wouldn't make it through ordering Uber eats again food was late for lack of drivers, but was still hot and fresh when it came to me

The food was amazing. I ordered Brown Stew chicken together with the oxtail. These two big articles. The portions were healthy, the rice and the peas were very fresh and the cabbage was also good. The chicken was cooked for perfection and the oxen tail some of the best foods I have eaten in a Jamaican restaurant in years. The two ladies waiting for me were kind and helpful.

I wish I could give more stars because both their food and service are 10's. This review is the best I can do, so I hope I persuade you to go. Their food is delicious, with lots of spices, and I can't wait to go back. I have friends family that don't care for spicy-hot food, but Flavaz has a lot of mild options, too. They've got a few favorites that they tend to sell out of, so you may want to go early or call ahead to see if they still have what you're looking for. This last trip, I placed my to-go order, but I was working and forgot to go get it. Thankfully the lady called and reminded me. I was embarrassed, but she was so kind and helpful. She really went out of her way to make sure I got my food, which I and my family were grateful for. ?
