Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Riverview

I ordered the mac and cheese for the child, but it was nothing special. The beans were mediocre at best. The brisket was disappointing, lacking in smoke flavor. The sausage was cold and barely had any spice to it. The turkey was just okay. The only highlight were the ribs, which were actually quite good. However, I was frustrated that one of the ribs I received was much smaller than the others. Given the price per rib, I expect them all to be of similar size and quality.

My man and I go here the week. I wasn't really in bbq, but we love dickies. maybe pregnant, but they have the best sweet tee as well as lol

Dickey's has been good. Really nice, friendly manager today. I got the feeling she owned the place, or they have a very caring employee. Sadly she was hanging a sign on the door to adjust the hours due to lack of workers. Food was served quick, I think it took me longer to do the card payment. They have the tiny pellet ice that I like. Their Coke products were on point. Give it a shot I have been here multiple times, and each time was a pleasant experience.

A great experience all together. My boyfriend and I visited for the first time. Staff explained options of food choices and current specials. The service was quick, the food was hot and soooo yummy! We had the brisket, pulled pork, waffle fries, green beans, chicken spinach tacos, chicken and cheese sandwich, and asiago cheese creamed spinach. There were 3 barbecue sauces available: sweet, original and spicy on the condiment bar along with pickles and onions. The BBQ sauces were amazing!! Already told friends to come visit this place when they go to the AMC Riverview theater nearby.

While we genuinely enjoy the food at Dickey's, we won't be returning to this location. It recently closed due to a walkout by the staff. Over time, I've left tips for the employees because we often placed large orders and they worked incredibly hard. However, I later discovered that the owner keeps all the tips meant for the employees. The owner has now reopened the location but is having to step in to work himself since he’s struggling to retain staff and losing money while it was closed. I have to say, he’s not the friendliest person I’ve met either.
