They offer several options but I got there vegan Tacos de Papa. They were so delicious and filling. It's always nice when an establishment has their vegan menu right out front and center so you don't have to wonder how they feel about it.

And while you're waiting for your food, you look around at all The artwork that was made from garbage and other creative Items, it truly is magnificent. You will not be disappointed and the prices are very reasonable and the food is amazing! I've put some pictures of just a little bit of the artwork. There is so much more to look at while you're actually there. Usually the food is good but really we... read more We visit Tio's Tacos often, and when we have visitors, we like to take them there because it's such a unique restaurant. Usually the food is good but really we go for the experience. This time, the food was almost not okay. I'm not sure if its because it was closing time or because it was after a holiday or if they changed something in the kitchen, but the food was not subpar. The tortillas tasted like they were supposed to have a LONG shelf life. If you are a tortilla eater, you know the difference. The asada tacos were SO greasy. My son actually had a hard time eating them, and he got a stomach ache. We eat street tacos, and this doesn't happen. The taco salad was mostly a rice salad with just a few pieces of lettuce rice and a protein. The aguas frescas were still quite good, and the salsas were still very flavourful. I think next time we'll just go for some fruit and Aguas frescas if it's after 8:30 pm. Or.... just get fruit and not take the risk of food tasting bad. Vegetarian options: Nopales are a taco option, and I feel like the portions of nopales are quite good.
