Ashai in the IE has gone from Obscurity to cult fantasies. At a recent weekend visit to a rainy evening, Asahi was filled with 25 people left outside to get in. This is no exception for Asahi, in a certain night they draw a lot. The hotel is located in a dated stripe shopping center on the corner of Lincoln and Van Buren in Riverside, CA. this dining would be easy to miss. The owner Howard has a master command over his team. The precision with which they work in the rather small limits of this place is impressive to say the least. At $21.95 for All You Can Eat this is true a bargain. Each speciality roll on the menu and all sashimi are included in this price along with soup, salad, tempura, ice cream etc. A purist soff at the AYCA Sushi places, but I can tell you that this place provides. It has a crowded but funny atmosphere, certainly an annoying environment, but consistently it brings very good food. Can you better find sushi for food elitist, yes, but not at these prices. Hands down best quality and selection for the price in the Inland Empire.
