Only reason I rated 3 was this . Food was ok. Nothing great. Ordered about 10 pupusas. Bean and cheese, revueltas, jalapeño and cheese, chicharron. It took a long time to cook , approximately 45 minutes and there was only 4 ppl in the restaurant including myself. Sat there for what seemed an eternity granted I ordered at 11:30 am. The salsa was watery, the curtido not that great . Over all for a not so busy establish... View all feedback.
Last Thursday, my man and I ordered, take pupusas (three borons and cheese, two jalapeño, and one zucchini) and the Mexican style horchata and agua de.
I wish I could check her out, but it never made it our table. I ask for our first order at 45 minutes, and it was not yet.
This restaurant in Riverside is the best place to go for pupusas. They prepare everything fresh when you order, so be prepared for a bit of a wait. I waited around 20 minutes for my order, but it was well worth it. The food was amazing and I will definitely be returning. The atmosphere inside is very welcoming and the staff is fantastic. The restaurant is usually busy, making it a great spot to bring the family and enjoy a meal. Just remember that the wait time is longer due to everything being made fresh, so it's not a fast food restaurant. Don't go if you're in a rush or impatient!
The mixed pupusas were extremely tasty and the salsa had a pleasant level of spiciness. The only downside was that the curtido was a bit too acidic for my taste. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive. Overall, I would rate the food a 4 out of 5.
The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious! The wait for the food is worth it because it is so amazing. I will definitely be returning again. Food rating: 5 out of 5.
