I had been holding off to try this place out since there has been quite a few fly-by-night establishments here but been noticing it and has lasted a while so th... read more I had been holding off to try this place out since there has been quite a few fly-by-night establishments here but been noticing it and has lasted a while so this morning when my appetite called for some spice and flavor I decided to venture into thisrestaurant for breakfast. My first impression was the pleasant atmosphere, neatness, cleanness, nice mountain view, I observedthe server juggle amongst patrons with great attitude and never missing a beat, as the other one was shining the counter glassmeanwhile the cook steady putting dishes out. My breakfast came right on time after thoroughly enjoying my coffee and chipsaccompanied with salsa and a delicious bean dip and yes!!, my omelette was very tasty with nice portions. Sam, the manager madea stop at my table and asked me if everything was okay and told me about the outside seating they are preparing. I think thisfamily restaurant has all the potential to be a keeper for this community...finally!; with me being a karaoke aficionado I toldhim I will be coming back for my debut here on Friday karaoke night.???? December 13th 2021 No sorry not coming back after this..Yeah that place was full but when she brought my 7 Mates out and then I started eating I noticed the shrimp was old it seemedlike it had been boiled over and over it was all dried up is so was the crab legs and I had specifically told her I dislikeimitation crab or and this soup had a lot of it and it had a weird flavor I like the one before pandemic I mean I'm glad thisplace is back in business after the pandemic they closed down for at least a year but they need to fire that cook... this 29dollar soup was ****????

This was probably one of the most authentic and deliciou... read more Ixtapa caught my eye while trying to find a good place to eat before seeing Amy Schumer at Fox Theater. This was probably one of the most authentic and delicious Mexican restaurants that I have ever been to. As soon as I walked through the door I was slapped in the face with a fantastic rendition of Selena's Bidi Bidi Bom Bom being sung in one of the most lit Karaoke parties I've ever witnessed. The whole restaurant was vibin and I was here for it....and some chips and salsa. The staff and service was awesome. We were kind of on a time crunch but they got us in and out no problem, even with the restaurant being pretty packed. With that being said, the parking lot is not very big so parking may be hard to find. You know I got the carne asada tacos (my fav), and they were absolutely delicious. The rice and bean were also delicious, but the rice really stood out for me. I'm a big fan of the veggies inside. If I drank alcohol regularly I would definitely have tried one of the cool drinks in the drink menu because they look super fun, and that's what I usually go for. Kids eat free Monday and Wednesday! Check this place out. Super fun. Super delicious. I will be back if I'm in riverside again.
