I... read more The food at this restaurant is consistently amazing! I first came across it during work events, and now I often find myself craving their spicy chicken pizza. It strikes the perfect balance—not too spicy, but packed with flavor! With the weather being too hot to cook, I decided to order delivery, especially since they have half-priced pizzas on Wednesdays. As always, the pizzas were delightful; their dough actually has a flavor, which isn’t something you find at many places. Honestly, I could savor their dough with marinara sauce all by itself! It has just the right amount of chewiness and a lovely crisp crust. You can ask for it to be well done, but even if it’s not, it’s still incredibly tasty. The Stromboli here is also fantastic, though I hadn’t ordered one in a while due to some previous issues. We decided to give it another try and added a 4 Cheese Combo Stromboli with meatballs (for an extra $0.85) to our order today. The flavor was outstanding—perfect for garlic enthusiasts like me! However, I was let down when I discovered that the meatballs were missing; despite the additional charge, I received just the regular 4 Cheese Combo, which includes fresh tomatoes, garlic, basil, and artichoke hearts. It was still delicious, and we'll definitely order it again, but it seems like every time we add toppings to the Stromboli, they never seem to be included. Nonetheless, the Stromboli, as it is, is still worth getting. I don’t mind forgoing those extra topping fees to support a mom-and-pop shop rather than larger chains. Their delivery fee is quite reasonable as well, at just $6.50 per order, which I prefer over the big delivery services. Treat yourself to the delicious food at Dematteo’s and support a small business!

The owner is very attentive and friendly. You should definitely stop by and try their food today – you might just find your new favorite spot! There’s no need to apologize for making great food; we’re more than willing to wait. We’ve waited just as long at places like Wendy’s or McDonald's, and their food isn’t worth the wait. The pizza is amazing, made with fresh toppings, and they also serve great wings, breadsticks, and sandwiches. The kids always enjoy the churros for dessert. The prices are quite fair; they may appear steep if you’re accustomed to chain pizza joints, but they offer coupons and specials that can fit any budget.

No joke it was a GREAT PIZZA,ordered a large sausage,fresh tomato,and mushroom. Ingredients were all fresh and flavorful. The dough and crust was delicious. Spoke to a friend who lives in Riverside he tells me he has been going their for years,and everything they offer is delicious and they are consistent. Thank you DeMatteos Team see you again soon.

In addition, we ordered mozzarella sticks, a salad, garlic bread, and garlic Parmesan boneless chicken wings, all of which were delicious. They followed all Covid safety protocols, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Alak, who was polite and attentive. Surprisingly, it wasn’t very busy for a Friday night, even though they mentioned that they usually have a full house. If you appreciate excellent pizza and great service, I highly recommend giving this place a try. Just a couple of days ago, I showed them a photo of a double pepperoni thin crust pizza from one of their competitors, and they confidently assured me they could do better—and they certainly did!
