I ordered a steak bowl with f... read more I hadn't eaten at Chipotle in a while, so I decided to stop by. However, I'm not sure when I'll return after my recent experience. I ordered a steak bowl with fajita toppings, which cost over $11. When I got home and started eating, I noticed there was still a sticker on a piece of bell pepper in my bowl. At first, it seemed minor, but as I started to think about the price I paid, I began to wonder whether the vegetables were properly washed and prepared. If something as simple as a sticker got through the process, I couldn't help but worry about what else might have slipped by. This led me to scrutinize every part of my meal before continuing to eat, and I ultimately lost my appetite. I know it may not be a big deal to some, and perhaps I overreacted about the sticker, but when I'm paying over $11 for a meal, I shouldn't feel the need to inspect every bite. I understand mistakes can happen, but I wish it had happened to someone else—because now, I'm still hungry.

I used the automated assistance feature to get help with the missing items, and I requested the “free guacamole” they offered. However, when I went to the restaurant to pick up my order, the staff told me there was nothing they could do. This experience feels like a rip-off and is not worth my time or money. Be sure to double-check your orders and be cautious with the “free” promotions.
