The Loop Handcrafted - Riverside

Used to be great because of the many original churros, and it was one of our favorite unique spots. But now they've changed their menu, and frankly completely gave up their only competitive edge to justify their pricing. But now you still want 7.50 for a bent churro with .25 of toppings (literally Oreo crumbs or sprinkles) that other places charge 1- 3 for? You're dreaming. Talk about a poor business decision. Good luck with that.

I would give them 5 stars but they changed their menu into mini churros, 1/3 the size of the original ones. Please revert to the simpler menu and I’ll come back.

Ordered a six piece mini churros last night with two soft serve ice creams. The soft serve was what you'd expect. I was just a little disappointed that all the churros were hard...almost burnt. No one likes hard churros. It was a good thing I had the ice cream to dip it into and soften up a little. I'm disappointed because I just moved to riverside and wanted to like this place, be a returning customer but if the churros are going to be hard/over cooked like this then I won't be coming back : please try to not over cook the churros!

I guess I came during the wrong time. They barely got their ice cream machine back up and it wouldn't be ready to be used until 20 mins. I don't have the time to sit there wait 20 mins during my 30 min lunch break. I ordered just a churro and even that took a long time to take mean it was just me and someone else who ordered after. The flavor wise mediocre, not much flavors to choose from. I'm so used to going to the locations in OC that have more of a variety. Just wish their ice cream was up and running cus I think it would've given another star for this review.

The parking is a bit sketchy. The churros are delicious but the customer service is awful. Went in and bought a churro and then a variety pack. The cashier was unpleasant almost unhappy to be there. I'd rather go to Costco and a buy churro there instead.
