The Hamburger Mac and Cheese was delicious! The portions are large so they?re good for sharing and trying a few different dishes. The mild chicken is a true mild as far as spice goes : Also the outdoor seating area is comfortable and clean.

Saw a reel on Instagram and saw the yhe place had a healthy 4.5 review. Typically reviews never match the quality of what you actually recieve. It's like people who eat burned grilled cheese their entire lives raving about the one time it wasnt. I wenton a Sunday to Smoke and Fire around noon and there weren't really busy and there was plenty of seating available. Travelingwith a coworker I ordered the Brisket Grilled Cheese and the 1/2 lb brisket. My coworker ordered the Giant Pretzle and Brisketgrilled cheese as well. My coworker thought the pretzle was very good and mentioned that it had a garlic spread on it. He statedthe brisket grilled cheese was good as well. For myself, I ordered the 1/2 lb brisket because I wanted to only judge thequality of meat and flavor as a BBQ purist. To be honest this was the best BBQ Brisket I've had in California. I think the ChainRudy's (TX,NM,OK, and AZ) is better as are some of the places in Kansas City and St. Louis. But, for California it was reallygood flavor wise. The meat was well seasoned, very tender /moist, with a decent smoked flavor. This dish came with some vinegarbased slaw that is forgettable. The BBQ sauce reminded me of KC BBQ sauce was good too. The Brisket grilled cheese was good butsomewhat over powered by the toasted cheese around the brisket. It was unique and pretty good, just wouldnt say it was great. Iwould be curious to try it with just melted cheese if that is even offered. Overall I would say the 4.5 rating is spot on, butsince I cannot do a 4.5 rating I am rounding it to a 5 because this place was closer to a 5 than a 4.

Food was so tasty and presented aesthetically. Plus the service was top notch. It was my first time here and our server, Chelsea, made are firs visit feel very warm welcome! Looking forward to coming again!!

Born and raised Texan here, and I?ve been on a serious search for good bbq since moving to Cali a month ago. This place absolutely blew me AWAY. We ordered the brisket burrito (cheese crusted tortilla stuffed with gooey mac n chz, moist gloriousbrisket, and waffle fries) and the brisket loaded potato salad ? I?m not joking, I?m still salivating at the thought of thismeal. Their sweet staff even threw in a side of mac n chz for free, along with 2 hamburger patties for the pups!! Their bbqsauce is thick and sweet with a hint of spice. Delish. Hot sauce tasted exactly like Frank?s; no complaints there. Wouldabsolutely come back to this place again and again. 10/10 recommend!!

Today was my first time checking this place out with a friend. I was super sad that they didn't have Pretzels but the sweet girl who took our order offered to refund me or let me choose anything else I wanted. She also gave us free Potato salad to try. Weended up getting thirsty after finishing our beer and she gave us a free soda and free Lemonade ???? I believe her name wasChelsea? She totally made our day and I will DEFINITELY be coming back! Service was awesome and food was delicious ????
