Really disappointing. Paid R120 for a salad that was made from iceberg lettuce (not baby spinach or butter lettuce or herbs like rocket), sauce tomatoes that was cut into smaller pieces (not Rosa salad tomatoes), cucumber, a bit of raw onion and a handful of biltong. We love stopping at the farmstalls when we are road tripping. Die Rooi Aalwyn serves up boetekos . Hubby had the tamatie bredie he was a bit disappointed. I ordered Vetkoek en botter and my niece had the Vetkoek en mince. The Vetkoek is the winner deliciously fresh and it had that spongy spring in the dough it wasn 't oily at all.
