Reviews - Funcho's Fajita Grill
Reviews summary
Funcho's offers a vibrant dining experience featuring visually stunning dishes that are mostly well-received. Handmade tortillas and a lively atmosphere enhance the appeal, although some dishes, like the steak, have room for improvement. Prices may be steep, especially for simple, unaccompanied items. While the restaurant boasts delicious specialties like Cactus Crunch, clearer menu descriptions are necessary. Service can be hit-or-miss, with incomplete orders causing frustration. Despite these hiccups, the fresh flavors and charming decor make it a popular spot near the outlets, drawing in locals who appreciate its American twist on traditional fare.

The good news is that the Cactus Crunch is delicious. The bad news is that there was no description of what it actually is. Nothing indicated that this was a plate of nachos, and from the picture, I thought it was a rice bowl. There should definitely be proper descriptions of the food items. View all feedback.
What Nick F dislikes about Funcho's Fajita Grill:
I paid $15 for a small burrito and it didn't even come with chips and salsa or anything on the side. I'm still hungry after finishing my meal. The taste is not the problem; the food is good... View all feedback.

When you order a chicken burrito bowl, you expect to receive actual chicken, not just a bowl full of lettuce and the toppings you added. Very disappointing.
Second time this week the order arrives only partially fulfilled so only a couple of people get food !!! If they cant complete an order you should be notified to so you can perhaps order something else

I've mentioned it before on this account, and I’ll say it again: Funchos is one of the best places I've discovered since moving to Long Island. The food...

A great spot to eat close to the outlets. The food was amazing and the decor was absolutely traditional. I fell in love with the tile tables. It's not authentic Mexican food, it has an American twist to it which made for food more sweet than spicy, I did however love it.
I ordered the Big Daddy Manzo, and it was huge and packed with flavor. The barbecue sauce is delightful—not overly sweet. The poblano pepper adds just the right amount of heat and a nice smoky flavor. It's bursting with taste! With so many Tex-Mex restaurants popping up, this one definitely stands out!
Let me first share how this place for the first time confused visitors. There are two windows. A parking lot (or the ice shop) and the opposite. The one parking lot opposite is cashier and the other is not. Here's the confusing part. There's a sign that says taking through the cashier side. On the other hand, on the window, is an open dining area. This led me to believe that the parking side is only for extradition orders or go to the other side for immersion. But that was not the case. I had to order from the parking side, pay and then find the order number, wait patiently until my number is called. If you are waiting on the line to order, ask someone before you to pass the menu so you can choose what you want while you kill time on the line. Thanks for reading such a long intro. Now the food... It was worth waiting. We have the steak and chicken fajitas (2 Diff orders), Aroz con pollo and they were all good. Salsa and vegetables are fresh and the portions were fair. When I come back to this area, it will definitely be superior to return.
The best hot chocolate I’ve ever tasted! In addition to that, Funcho’s is also one of my favorite places for tacos. Make sure to keep this spot on your list!
