Feedback
Fry Pan in Riverhead delivers tasty Chinese staples—crispy egg rolls, well‑seasoned Hunan chicken and substantial steamed dumplings—plus surprisingly good boba tea. The dining area is clean and staff are friendly and efficient, making it a solid pick for takeout or a casual meal. However, some recent visits report inconsistent food quality, mistakes with orders, and failure to honor special requests (wrong soups, unwanted ingredients) with occasional extra charges. Overall, a recommended local option with variable attention to customization.
The lady from the counter being so rude she dosent wanted to let me to eat in with my children and speak verry bad with my wife il never gi ther again
Being a visitor to Riverhead, I am one who doesn't generally eat at chain establishments. I felt like having a Chinese dinner and Google Maps showed me Fry Pan with a 4.1 rating. I will definitely echo that rating. I ordered a hunan chicken combinationplate (entree, fried rice and egg roll) and steamed pork dumplings. The egg roll never made it to the hotel, as I was hungry andaroma of the food overcame me. Definitely, I was off to a great start, as the egg roll was crunchy and tasty. Back at my room, Idug into the dumplings. They were not the typical wrap with a small tight meatball inside, but 8 pillows with seasoned mincedpork contained within. The hunan chicken was nicely seasoned, but I like mine with a bit more sauce which was missing. All inall, Riverhead, I believe, has a great choice for Chinese. Fei Chang Hao. Very good.
As a visitor to Riverhead, I generally avoid chain restaurants. When I craved Chinese food, Google Maps directed me to Fry Pan, which had a respectable 4.1 rating, and I can see why. I ordered the Hunan chicken combination plate (which came with tree, fried rice, and an egg roll) along with some steamed pork dumplings. I couldn't resist the delicious aroma and ended up eating the egg roll before I even made it back to the hotel; it was crispy and flavorful, a fantastic start to my meal. Once in my room, I dived into the dumplings. Unlike typical dumplings that are filled with a small meatball, these had eight fluffy pillows stuffed with well-seasoned minced meat. The Hunan chicken was also well-spiced, though I would have preferred a bit more sauce. Overall, I think Riverhead offers a great option for Chinese cuisine. Highly recommended!
