Riviera Tapas - Riverdale
Riviera Tapas
Description
Riviera Tapas Bar has garnered mixed reviews, reflecting a dynamic dining experience. While the ambiance is generally praised, the food quality remains inconsistent. Diners enjoyed a variety of tapas, with some highlights including bacon-wrapped dates and shrimp tacos, signaling the potential for delightful flavors. Yet, complaints about mediocre dishes, such as dry tortillas and overcooked calamari, suggest a need for improvement. The bustling atmosphere, amplified by loud noise levels, detracted from the overall experience for some guests. Despite these drawbacks, the friendly service and appealing brunch deals continue to draw patrons, making it a go-to spot for many.

Went on a Sunday morning with family for brunch. They sat us down but due to a misunderstanding regarding reservations , we were approached by the same person who sat us down, in an unprofessional way in front of other customers which was unnecessary. Although, food was good and highly recommend the all kinds of flavors mimosas.
Finally made it here. I've had this place bookmarked for awhile now. A friend and I met up on Tuesday.Parking is easy as there's a parking lot right there. Not sure if payment is required. I just parked and went right in.They had happy hour going on. Ends at 6 except on Wednesday when it goes until 8! I tried the paloma cocktail it was ok. For food, I did the steak tacos. The meat had flavor, but the tortillas fell apart. Yikes! I would come back. The brunch menu looks good! Service was good. Cheers!
I cannot say enough great things about riviera tapas bar. One of my friends found them in college, and it has become our holy grail get together spot for brunch. You CANNOT beat the menu and the deal for $25 bottomless food or $40 bottomless food&drink. My personal faves on the menu are the chicken empanadas (ask for the siracha aioli sauce), pancake, and bacon wrapped dates. But there is so much that I didn't even cover that is a 10/10. Our favorite server was Ari, but she left. Ivan is now our fav who keeps putting up with us and our one million requests. Also, now that they updated the decor, it is really a can't miss place.
Great local café with nice choice of drinks and awesome food options. Not crowded during lunchtime, while may get busy at dinner hours. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
