Unfortunately, the spicy battered fish was old and dry, which was disappointing given the enticing commercials and images on the menu board. The breadstick was tough as well. On a positive note, the regular battered fish and fries were decent. I've had good experiences at this location before, which is why I've returned multiple times. However, after my visit yesterday, I think it will be a while before I come back to try anything new. That said, I am willing to give them another chance.

However,... read more I haven't had Captain D's in quite a while—specifically, three years. I was really looking forward to enjoying their fish, coleslaw, and hush puppies. However, upon tasting the fish, I found it to be excessively salty. It was way too salty, and I don’t think I’ll be returning anytime soon.

The person taking orders was not professional at all... read more The customer service is terrible. The woman at the window has a really poor attitude and needs improvement. The person taking orders was not professional at all. When I got to the window, she hadn’t even taken my order. She lied and claimed that I didn’t say anything when she asked. I assume that’s why the wait was over 15 minutes, even with just three cars in front of me. In my opinion, people who don’t want to work should just stay home. However, the food was good.

I can't tell if the food wasn't stored correctly or if it wasn't cooked properly, but this has never happened to us on previous visits.
