Quality soap needed ,sink getting old , looks not safe to use for face washing,no USB plugs in case of charging phones . What Emmanuella Tieku doesn't like about Indaba Lodge Richards Bay:
Can't wait to leave. The lodge itself is beautiful especially with the fact that it is 3 stars, looks like it could be more but... 16:30 to past 19:00 it became a flat, next door neighbour started playing music on full blast, no one stopped them. I do not think there is any management here. Location was good. Rooms were clean, stuffy though. Not far from the mall, a few activities around. View all feedback.
Could use improvement, Rooms color scheme is dreary, lighting is a bit odd, felt cold, TV's were heavily outdated(Not HD TV) and half broken pixels, bathrooms were excellent, A big disappointment on Wifi as you have access for 30min and thereafter have to pay and signal not good. As reply to your reply Indaba: The room is 108 we clocked in around 14:30pm on a saturday, I had a voucher that was given to my friend and had inspected the room at the same time to see what we paid for. Don't get me wrong its a well established 3 star hotel, its just my preference regarding the colour scheme felt a bit dreary to myself and my friend thats all, along with the TV the pixels were damaged, seemed to be from transporting the TV as its got a massive huge scratch on the bottom screen panel along with 2 red lines running down the screen and its not HD not sure why you think i would just bring this up for no reason?, otherwise the bed, office area and bathroom if perfectly fine. My friend who stayed the night was told the Wifi was free for 30min and there after payment was to be made following that. Just addressing my likes and dislikes that's all. Service: 2
I had a good stay and was happy with everything, from my arrival until I left. I remember realising that I was going to arrive late after dinner, the receptionist (Amanda) offered to dish out and keep the food for me. Mr Mthethwa was also good and welcoming in the food court. I will definitely come back. Service: 5
We booked a weekend at Indaba Lodge Richards Bay for my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary in June 2024. Requesting with management if it would be alright to decorate the dinner table the day of their Anniversary to make it a bit more personal, they did not mind at all. Little did we know, they had another plan! We arrived a little earlier to arrange the table before dinner, only to be met by Management that they had arranged a private family dinner in their conference room. The dining area was beautifully set for our family to enjoy a very special occasion. Dinner was excellent, and the night ended off, with our waiter bringing a specially baked cake to celebrate their Anniversary compliments from Indaba Lodge! Thank you so much. You most certainly created a perfect evening, for a perfect celebration, for a very special couple. A 50th wedding anniversary that will never be forgotten. Thank you Indaba Lodge, Richards Bay, KZN. The deal breaker at this hotel was that they had run out of coffee “for the day” one hour after breakfast started in an empty restaurant. The service was good although they did not send any confirmation of booking. The toilet and windows were dirty and the television not working. I will try out a different hotel on my next trip. Service: 5
The food was great, with a wide range of food to chose from. we really enjoyed the stay. keep up the good work Service: 5
