The house panini is avocado, roast red pepper, spinach, pesto, chipotle sauce and possibly cheese. It is gooey, bold and has a light kick of spice. The Ruben was delicious too. Their daily soup and daily sandwiches do sell out during the lunch rush. They have decaf espresso! Vegetarian options: Great veggie sandwiches, not just lettuces tomato on bread with a spread. What DAM 2144 doesn't like about Michael's Deli Cafe:
This morning I thought I would give this place a try because of the reviews, but they sadly disappointed. Upon arriving there were no other customers in the establishment yet I was ignored for 4 minutes, (no greeting, or ill be right with you). My preferred lunch place on the HCGH campus! Friendly staff, great quality food!
Rarely use my credit card... 30 mins after purchasing here I had a $500 fraudulent charge on my credit card. Beware
Fantastic food. The Ruben sandwich was delicious and very filling. Definitely recommend you come try out this deli.
It was nice while it lasted... I always liked Michael's because the quality of food was excellent (real meat on the Chef Salad large shrimp in the Shrimp Salad). Today I got my regular Chef Salad almost $10. there was no real meat- just processed meat cheeses (filled with preservatives junk- no health value at all). Oh well, the search continues...
Nice people but burnt toast and stale pastries tempers one's enthusiasm to recommend this place. Stick with coffee, tea, and soft drinks.
