What User doesn't like about The Green Papaya:
and racist. I was the only person of the color at a table of about 13 and somehow my court was the only drowning in the sauce. disappointed someone else get exactly the same court; it was dry and much more attractive. to add harms, my natalate was put on the plate with all the goop instead of in a separate bowl than other salads. Yeah, whoever wants, he can keep it. View all feedback.
Came here to eat with a friend and had a great time. I've been here since it opened for the first time many years ago and the food still tastes great!! The staff and the owners are super nice and friendly. Take a look at this place for dinner when you're in the area.
Finally decided not to pass this restaurant for the millionth time and give it a try and I am super impressed if there is a soup, chicken beef, rice or noodle dish the green papaya. Food was amazing and I will definitely add it to my usual rotation that lives so close to the restaurant.
Delicious food and a beautiful, pleasant atmosphere inside. Very friendly and fast waiters immediately brought us a free green tea that was quite delicious. I had the Thai basil fried rice with vegan chicken and my Gf had the drunk noodles and both were delicious with very large portions. I also recommend her homemade roasted tofu, which we had as an appetizer. I'd like to come back!
I only ate once, but it left a great impression. The tropical mango shell is incredible. The ingredients are extremely fresh and the portion sizes are perfect. Flavor is crazy, I literally have zero complaints.
This restaurant is a town staple. A must go if you are passing through, are new to the area, or if you’ve always been curious whether the food here is good. It is the best Thai/Asian fusion restaurant for miles! Their menu is extensive and I’ve have almost everything on it without disappointment. Although just about everything is mouth watering, I’ll LIST A FEW OF MY FAVORITES: Satay Chicken Appetizer (tender, juicy chicken on a skewer with a peanut sauce to dip). Roti Canai Appetizer (soft, melt in your mouth dough triangles with a potato curry dipping sauce). Tom Kha (coconut based soup w veggies protein) Thai Basil Fried Rice THIS IS A MUST (fried rice tossed with basil leaves, veggies, egg, and protein. It is the only rice I can reheat later and still enjoy like it’s fresh. It doesn’t harden or become stale). Red Curry Soup Entree (very flavorful and amazing soup a little spicy) Saigon Beef Entree (sizzling beef cubes tossed in a brown sauce with onions and broccoli my favorite entree). They also refill your tea constantly for FREE. I’ve been coming here for a long time. This is a family owned restaurant and they take time to get to know their customers. I recently hit my head and got stitches. The owner of the restaurant came to my table and expressed such concern and care for my well being. It was heartwarming that she cared enough to make sure I was okay. At this point we treat each other like family. Very nice people. I love the atmosphere here and the staff is always very patient and sweet. Some of them don’t speak perfect English so make sure you treat them with the same respect they treat you!
