Country Skillets - Ripon

Atmosphere good. Eating is not hot. Pancake, where rubber. Biscuit was excellent. My coffee had a lot of coffee in it. The cup just poured more coffee in the cup instead of getting me another cup.

My wife and I decided to give this place an attempt as we were on site and there the breakfast looked good online. Definitely a good experience, food was to be expected and the Mimosas were great! Now I want to take the time to a spectacular server Leslie (I hope I have written your name correctly). Leslie was absolutely a breath of fresh air with her real smile and outgoing personality!! Leslie was sitting, cleaning tables and checking on us while the servers were busy (they are a little short staff). I never leave reviews, but I think she deserves it! If you give an attempt at this place, you will probably notice Leslie without having her name that?s how pronounced her amazing personality is! Just incredible!

This place has a lot at home boiled comfort food. They tend to do something, but the service was good and the food was delicious. The place is well maintained and a beautiful hidden gem. They also offer outdoor seating. I would definitely try something else on her menu again, as my meal was sooooo good!!

Drove up from Modesto to give this place a try. I saw lots of beautiful pictures of all the different dishes. I?ve never been here before so this was my first time. I ordered the country skillet as seen in some of the pictures. However mine did not come on a skillet. At Best, this is what I call mediocre cafeteria food. The biscuits and gravy did not have the flavor that you would expect. The potatoes that?s another story. The sausage taste is it had been frozen and quickly thawed out. The portion sizes are fabulous! They are huge! No complaints there. The server did not come to ask me how things were with my meal. They didn?t offer to refill my coffee until I was done eating. The place was not packed at all. I was so disappointed. I look at pictures first before I go places that gives me an idea of having a good culinary experience. When I go to a place, I want to leave four or five stars. I understand that this is peoples livelihoods. Customer service is huge as is providing good quality food.

Diner food but more carefully prepared and not as artificial. They do a nice job. The food is good, overall. Their taco salad is surprisingly really delicious, and their pancakes and waffles are extremely tasty. Be prepared to be there a while, though. It definitely is leisurely dining.
