Shirley's - Ripley

It wasn't terrible but very middle of the road diner. Nothing bad to say but nothing great to say either.

Great service, wonderful food, got the Best Burger in town!! My favorite is the Texas bacon cheese burger with spicy fries, you can't go wrong with that one!!

This is a family-owned restaurant that has been in business since I was a little girl. If that doesn't say enough about how good they are, then the food will. I've had a lot of cheeseburgers in my 43 years, and Shirley's has the best I've ever had. Everything on the menu is great, and they have a wonderful salad bar with all the trimmings you wish every salad bar would have. Oh, and I haven't even mentioned their plate lunches during the week. You will pile your plate high. And don't forget homemade desserts!! Hot fudge cake. HELLO!!

It had a welcoming, homey vibe. They stand were so friendly and nice. We never had to wait on a refill and our bellies were full when we exit our table. As we was approaching the cashier, to our surprise, some kind person paid for all our meals. 4 was in our party.

Our burgers and fries were great, but it took 35-40 minutes to get our food. The older ladies were very nice and accomodating. But when they weren't there, the younger girl was inattentive and apathetic.
