This is my family's favorite spot for barbecue! The meat is tender, and the sauce has a perfect balance of flavors. I'm really glad they're in business in Rio Rancho!
The staff was quite rude, and the mashed potatoes were served lukewarm. We also noticed that part of our order was missing, but thankfully they rectified it. Unfortunately, this was our first and last time dining here.
By 6:30 PM on a Friday night, they were out of almost everything—much more than just a few items. What they did have wasn't bad, though. The sauce struck a nice balance between sweet and spicy, and the brisket was moist and delicious. The ribs were also good. Unfortunately, the chicken I had was a bit dry; I suspect it might have been at the bottom of the pan since they were running low on that as well. I wish I could wholeheartedly recommend this place, but not being able to order about 50% of what I wanted makes me hesitant to return.
