(Google translation) We spent three nights during the carnival in 'The Yellow House'. Bettina and Darwin are excellent hosts and very helpful. The hotel is very quiet and the view of Baños is impressive, even in the morning fog. The rooms are well equipped and all have a private bathroom with hot water. We had a great breakfast, with a little homemade jam. Dinner was always fresh made by Bettina and Darwin and delicious. The hotel is not accessible by car or only in all-terrain vehicles, which was very useful in the transport of luggage. This Darwin was useful. Without 4x4 we needed about 10 15 minutes. The road is partly steep, but we have done it and peace, idillium and sight deserve effort. We'll be happy to come back when we get to Baños. Many thanks to Bettina and Darwin! (Original) Wir haben drei Nächte über Karneval im 'La Casa Amarilla' übernachtet. Bettina und Darwin sind tolle Gastgeber und sehr hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist sehr ruhig gelegen und der Ausblick auf Baños ist atemberaubend, auch im morgendlichen Nebel. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet und haben jeweils ein eigenes Bad mit Warmwasser. Wir hatten ein tolles Frühstück, mit teilweise selbstgemachter Marmelade. Das Abendessen war immer frisch von Bettina und Darwin zubereitet und sehr lecker. Das Hotel ist nicht per Auto zu erreichen bzw. nur per Geländewagen, was sehr hilfreich beim Transport des Gepäcks war. Hierbei war Darwin behilflich. Ohne Geländewagen haben wir ca. 10 15 Minuten benötigt. Der Weg ist teilweise steil, aber wir haben es auch geschafft und die Ruhe, Idylle und der Ausblick sind die Anstrengungen wert. Wir kommen gerne wieder, wenn is a nach Baños verschlägt. Vielen Dank an Bettina und Darwin!
