J Bruner 's, located on the East side of the city Square in Clarinda Iowa is that type of restaurant If you venture out to check it out, you have to have the onion rings . Made fresh and crispy. Also, they have a great selection of entrees! Friday night is Prime Rib night. I had mine medium rare with a loaded baked potato

What a gem of a place in the tiny town of Clarinda, Iowa! The staff were so nice. The food was excellent. I had the chicken livers. They came with mushrooms and onions. They were delicious! My son had the 8 ounce sirloin steak, ordered medium rare. It was perfectly done, and the seasoning on it was tasty. The steak just melted in your mouth! My sister had the prime rib skewers. It came with mushrooms, peppers, and onions. It was so good! I will definitely be back if I'm ever in Clarinda again.
