Texas Cafe - Rio Grande City

We visited this restaurant while spending time with family, and we absolutely loved it! The food has a homemade taste and is made with high-quality ingredients. The prices are excellent too. We ordered a coffee, two tacos, a breakfast special, a bowl of oats, toast, and an omelet, all for just $23.78. The restaurant is situated in the historic district of Rio Grande, which makes for a pleasant walk among many interesting old buildings. This place has quickly become one of our favorites!

This was my first visit, and I absolutely loved it! I ordered the Hamburg steak, and it was delicious. The crispy taco was also fantastic. I tried a cheeseburger and nachos, and both were really good too. The staff made me feel right at home. Although the food took a little while to arrive, it was definitely worth the wait. If you’re looking for a homemade meal and friendly service, this place is perfect for you. I will definitely be coming back!

However, I did notice that the bathroom could use some attention; it had a rusty sink and a somewhat sticky floor. On a positive note, I loved the theme and design of the restaurant, which exuded a cozy, old-fashioned cottage vibe. The lighting was just right, and the staff were lovely. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed, making it a nice place to dine. Kudos to the cooler and our wonderful waitress for their great service. I would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Phenomenal Beef Enchiladas. My parents brought me here 30 years ago and will always love this place. Definitely recommend everyone
